It's Greek To Me was a long-standing Minneapolis Greek dining tradition for over 40 years. I had the opportunity to create real-client work for the restaurant to promote their new lunch hours before they closed their doors. The cuisine and dining experience was so divine that even the Greek gods even agreed that this establishment is as close to the ones on Mount Olympus.
These are mock-up banner ads that were designed to be hung on Lyndale Ave in Minneapolis outside the fence of their patio. Hundreds of people walk along this side of the street every day in this high traffic area. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed before they were produced.
Athena was the famous owner of IGTM,
and is the source of inspiration in these
headlines. Athena is also the Greek Goddess of war, wisdom, and love which further ties into this concept.
